POLICIES
Welcome to the Callaway Junior Tour
The goal of the West Virginia Golf Association and the Professional Golfers Association is to insure that all WVGA tournaments and events are pleasurable and rewarding for all participants, spectators, club staff and volunteers who assist in organizing the events. In keeping with the tradition and spirit of the game of golf, the West Virginia Golf Association and the West Virginia Professional Golfers Association require all Junior Golfers at its events to adhere to the West Virginia Golf Association Junior Code of Conduct. The Junior Code of Conduct is a policy that players are expected to follow while participating in our Tournaments and events. The WVGA and the WVPGA have prided themselves on treating tournament participants as young adults. Our interest is not only to help junior golfers improve their game but also to help them grow and mature. The Junior Code of Conduct is not intended to scare players, but to have junior golfers understand the consequences of their actions.

- If you have an issue of any kind please let the WVGA staff member know. Courses only have so many carts at their facility so please know they will sell out almost every single event
- Carts MUST remain on paths at all times. If no path is available, please stay in the rough.
- You may act as a forecaddie to spot ball locations for all players and you are encouraged to spot balls on all areas of the course. However, we ask that you remain a reasonable distance from the player if at all possible to alleviate any allegations of coaching/caddying.

- We expect talking to be limited to providing positive reinforcement to the player, asking if they need a snack/drink, and assisting all players with ball location.
- At no time should a spectator be walking/chatting with players on any playing surface and/or pushing/carrying their golf bags.
- We appreciate parents/spectators with a knowledge of the rules of golf. However, to prevent potential disqualifications, all rulings and interpretations are only to be given by tournament officials.
